SMACKBOARD..... AGAIN

Post  john5153 on Fri Sep 21, 2012 9:32 am

Let me start the new one...since no one else will.....

vikings move to 5-1........oh my bad...

1-0 with a great performance out of the offense in general. Mcnabb threw for over 250 yards and Peterson ran for over 140 as the vikings were able to put 33 points up in a 33-24 victory over the Jags. gg...billybob

Lions take the opener vs the Rams but it wasnt easy. Hats off to coach Soloman and his Rams team as they are not the most talented group but came to play. Rams hung around till 3'rd quarter then Stafford hit CJ on a 70 yard TD strike. Lions pulled away at that point and thought it was over. Rams scored another TD to keep it close and force the Lions Offence back on the field. Newly aquired WR allace hit paydirt for another score to keep the upset in check. It was a good one and the Rams showed that they can play some ball. Both Wallace and CJ go over 100 yards as they show a a sign of what is to come. Stafford kepping pace with his former self throwing close to his average of 400 yards.

Packers are 1/6 of the way back on track. After an original win of 58-24 over the 49ers, the packers defense proved more vulnerable in a 2nd go around. Not quite as many turnovers caused, but nonetheless, a 56-40 win. Aaron Rodgers had a stellar night with tons of passing yards and 5 tds.

1 win down. 5 to go.

Panthers defend their home turf vs. the Saints and come out victorious.

After throwing a pick on his first pass, Cam Newton calms down to throw for 200+ yds, as well as throwing 11 completions in a row and ending the day with 80% completion.

The Panthers Defense was a tad sketchy, but was able to keep Brees from throwing any TDs, and proceeded to terrorize him all day.

The game started slow, but ultimately everything changed with a suprise KR return by rookie Joe Adams. From there, the Panthers never looked back.

The Saints made it a game by recovering a onside kick and marched down the field to score with less than 30 seconds remaining. As the Saints try to run in a 2 pt conversion to tie the gm, Pierre Thomas gets flatlined by the Future legend Jon Beason, sealing the Panthers' win in Dramatic fashion in front of the home crowd...GG Ang

pats win with a 28-3 road win vs ravens. Redzone defense was big, forcing two flacco interceptions. The run game was held in check, however, Tom brady saved the day throwing 3 tds. gg burnt

Lions and 49'ers square off in a crazy game that leaves more questions then answres. The 49er Defense was just jacked up in the first half as they picked Stafford off 6 times before half. You would think at this point a blowout would be on the horizon but the Lions Defense was great as well holding the 49er offense to 160 total yards.

After the 6 picks Stafford decided he had had enough and through 517 yards and 4 TD's leading the team to a 35-21 win. Lions tried to run but running on the 49er defense was like running into a wall for 4 quarters. They did muster up about 60 yards on the ground but it was on stafford to lead the team back. WR CJ continues to do what ever he wants. LE Avril who was shopped around in preseason was great again as he sackek QB Smith 3 times in the 4th on a three man rush. Lions organization is happy that is remained a Lion.

Hats off to coach PUJ and the 49ers as he makes 5 user picks! Unreal. Both coaches mixed up the zone and man all game long and thus continues to be a great sim game rivalry. Great game puj!

Panthers get rolled...badly...Cam throws 4 picks, the D gets flipped...Nothing went in their favor...Panther players were mumbling on the way back to the hotel...they expect a grueling practice session for the next few weeks...GG death

Eagles Soar high in AZ, as they comeback from behind in a 57-54 win over Cardinals putting them at 3-0. Vick throws lead changing TD w/ 15 seconds left and converts 2pt conversion to go up by 3. Vick threw 4 picks as well as 4 TD. "Somehow we came out w/ a win despite all the turnovers, would prefer to win in a less messier fashion" coach balla said. The craziest stat, is the Eagles put up over 900 total yards.

hmmm....yet you are the one sitting at 1-2 and they are a combined 4-1-1.

looks like someone should worry more about themselves and their team than worrying about others.

Panthers Win behind the Rocket Arm of Cam 'Cambo the Lion' Newton...4 TDs, and a solid game overall.

Defense got 6 sacks, and kept Wilson on his heels and running for his life all game...for the most part DeAngelo Williams' homecoming was effectively spoiled. The Panthers were looking for a W heading into their bye, and with that being obtained the Panthers can now start getting ready for the Cowboys in 2 weeks...

Cam: It was a good game, we were firing on all cylinders, and Im looking forward to Finding out what Coach has in store for us in regards to Game Planning. See you guys at practice tomorrow...

His comment "awful" when asked about the decisions made by the league has got this Green Bay team playing INSPIRED football. Watchout.

Vikings bounce back from lost to the lions ( thought they won? oh nevermind....) and win a close fought game against the Titans. Adrian Peterson gained 102 yards and the defense made stops when it had to to seal the victory.

Panthers entertain the home crowd with a monumental upset...47-17...

Cam had his best game of the season...throwing 3 TDs, no picks...throwing for over 450 yds...and picking the secondary apart throwing to just about every Receiver that stepped out on the field...Steve Smith had a deadly game...186 yds...3 TDs...

The Defense had another serious game...2 Picks and a FF...shutting down Murray in the process...another 6 sack game...3 coming from the Surefire HOF Beason, also he added a pick to his total...The panthers were able to figue out the Cowboys gm plan early on and proceeded to make changes...

Cam: Im Glad we could come out and execute...we had a great game, It was definitely one where we were in sync and systematically played our game...

Steve Smith:Yeah, The Cowboys are a great team, it felt good to beat them the way we did, and hopefully we can keep getting more Ws like this one

Onslaught of Mallet and Fitzgerald definitely wasnt shut down by any means, but the Vikings were able to hold on to their late lead with a win 30-27. Adrian Peterson of course led the way with 195 yards on 28 carries. Percy Harvin had 65 yards recieving before going down with a adominal tear. Jared Allen came alive in the 4th qtr on 2 drive notching 2 sacks.... bringing his game total to 3 and season total to 10. Gamechanging play came at the goaline line when backup fs Paul Oliver took an interception 99 yards and expanding the lead to 20-10. gg fallen...

Vikings again sit at .500 as they lose a tough game to the bucs, 24-21. Adrian Peterson ran for 96 yards, but the story of the day was rookie Doug Martin. He had 233 yards on just 15 carries as he time and time again gashed the Viking's D.
