Texans get back home and begin a 5gm home stand after playing the first part of the season out of a suitcase, going 6-3(1 sim loss)which isn't all that bad being on the road that much... DRC came back from injury baring his teeth at the Chicago Bears. He snagged 3 English passes out of the air including 1 he returned for a TD. The Bears defense was confusing Schaub early with all the movement and players shooting gaps creating instant pressure. It was obvious they had 1 thing on their mind, Andre Johnson is not going to beat us today. The Texans showed, once gaining composure after falling in a 14-0 hole, why they're 1 of the most versatile and dangerous offenses in the league with Ownen Daniels proving they're is more than 1 way to skin a Bear. Barber added 4 rushing TD's. Players in the locker room after the gm commented on how the defense really turned the game around with DRC emerging as a leader after missing 8wks with a bicep tear. Ryans pointed out how many more things DRC allows the defense to do. With the earlier loss to the Dolphins in a simmed gm where the tm literally didn't show up loomed large as the Texans coach commented on how every game is so crucial and we will not look past the next opponent. Welcome back Cromartie...

Best short yardage runner I've used in the game... Can't remember him ever not falling forward. He's taking carries away from Slaton. Definately a change of pace back. Love doing business with you. How are the picks I gave you turning out?

Also, that sim loss is just glaring now! Aaaaaaarrrgh!

7-1 Ravens beat the 7-1 Cowboys last night to close out week 10. 24-14 final score.

Ravens started the game with a 12 play nearly 6 minute TD drive, but then it seemed like their offense never touched the field again. To most this would sound like bad news, but now when this Ravens D has been playin like the defense of old. Michael Huff (This leagues 12th Man of the Year, best nickelback around) took an INT to the house in the 2nd quarter (for the 2nd straight game). Ravens up 17-7 in the 4th quarter, Dallas has the ball, & Terrell Suggs steps infront of Jason Witten to pick off the ball & takes it to the house to put the game out of reach.

Key notes from the game:

MLB Ray Lewis gets hurt on the Cowboys 1st drive. Rookie MLB Corey Reed comes in & fills in nicely stacking a game high 5 tackles (3-4 tackles for loss). Looks like the Ravens might have found their selves a replacement for next yr if Ray Lew retires.

Joe Flacco proves efficient going 9/9 including a long pinpoint strike to TE Jermaine Gresham

Bjoern Mason fumbled for the 7th time this yr (including a fumble right before halftime), & it is now a wide open 3 man race for the starting HB to finish this season

gg Tony.....I hope I beat you next time I play you. Much love

you too bro. it was a good game even if i was losing the entire time. it's always fun playing vs top tier talent b/c you never know what's going to happen. of course i wished i wouldve won but in the end someone had to lose. the turnovers is what killed me as you got 14pts from my 2ints. i also look forward to our next game...

Haha I was thinking the same thing hooligan, this is your worst start since I've joined I think! Seems no one in our division is getting off to a solid start, I'm certainly a bit disappointed at 4-5.

Ravens beat on the Raiders 31-16. DHB killed me.....if he sees single coverage then expect DHB to be deep on his radar. Bjoern Mason finally didnt fumble & grabbed a TD.

Joe Flacco is red hott & I actually look like I can pass a little bit....he went 14/18 for 175 yds & 2 TD's. 2 of his incompletions were from 3rd down dropped passes that were right on the money, too

Oh & Terrell Suggs keeps up his pro bowl year grabbing 2 more INT's & taking 1 to the house. He is killin it this yr thanks to a great coaching move by yours truely Laughing Wink Cool

Chargers get a biiiiiiiiig win over the Steelers 34-27. Was a fantastic game, pretty much back and forth but Pittsburgh just couldn't capitalize in the 4th when it mattered. With 3 or 4 minutes left, Steelers were faced with a 4th and 2 after a huge stop on 3rd and inches, and Lofton makes a gigantic stop, giving the ball to San Diego. I drove down the field but then threw a retarded interception at the Steelers' 10 yard line, giving them a legitimate chance to tie it up. Steelers would tie it up on an 80 yard pass to Fitzgerald (had a monster game) with 2 minutes remaining. On the ensuing kickoff HB Scooter Chapman decided to show up to the game after a decent first quarter by returning it to the house! Steelers would turn the ball over on their next possession I think, and the Chargers ran it 3 straight times to run out the clock, using up all of Pitt's 3 timeouts. They received the ball with 45 seconds left, and the first play was a deep ball to Larry who made a great catch at their own 45. However this would be the last successful play by Pitt as they were stopped as time expired.

Apparently we decided to play no D in the first half, which ended 24-21, and then pretty decent D in the 2nd, only allowing 17 points total.

Some numbers:
Rivers: 19/35 302 yards 3 TDs 2 INTs
Jackson: 5 receptions 77 yards 1 TD
Buster Davis: 4 catches 77 yards 1 TD
Big Ben: 19/31 398 yards 3 TDs 2 INTs
Fitzgerald: 6 receptions 260 yards 2 TDs (offensive player of the week?)

Steelers were 0 for 5 on third downs!

Gates need 4 TDs to tie the record for most touchdowns by a TE in a season (12)

Great game again pujs!

This is just something I have recently noticed, Tackles For Loss are not counted as part of the Solo Tackles. I only noticed this when looking at stats after a game when my BEAST of a Rookie MLB Jay Sonnier had a stat line like this, 1 Tackle, 5 TFL, 1 Sack. I always thought that TFL was just a portion of the total Solo Tackles. Just throwing it out there that TFL is a separate category.

Jags win a very tough game againat the packers 35-21. Garrard had one of his better games going 15-21 for 219 and a score. But the player of the game goes to mo-drew, playing his best game of the year with 146 yards rushing and 3 rushing tds. Reggie nelson (who was held without a tackle for the first time in 3 years) had a key interception that may have turned the game. Packers are definitely on the rise with rookies KENDRUM HARRIS AND QUINTEN HILLARD. (wr and lb respectively)

good game dmoney.......
