Chargers and I had a CLOSE hard fought game until greed came into the Broncos head and lost with a late 95 yrd pick 6. I couldve just kicked the FG and send it to OT but noooooooo...lol

panthers win 47-3. had to pound the 1-5-5 in the 3rd because it was pissing me off! but did nothing in the 4th to make up for it. gg funkytownbandit.....that 1-5-5 defense is a bitch. (until you figure it out)that was the first time i faced it.

that is funny... u of all people i would think wouldnt have that much trouble against it... it is kinda overwhelming the first time.. especially if you play someone that does different blitzes out of it..... i honestly havent seen it in a while..... but you right pound it up the middle

i had a huge problem! i could throw (9/10 in first half 1 td) but d.will was 8 for 31 and my backup was 4 for 17 in the first half. My defense was holding him (he had 61 yards in the first half)

I couldn't run the ball and it wasn't making any sense because he was using 1-5-5. i figured out some things to do and my 3rd qtr was much much better.

the 4th qtr. was boring because all i did was run simple plays to keep the ball

i found that strecthes and off-guard runs worked the best. dives were getting me caught backside somehow.

remember when I said this guy has to nano blitz to win. His sim play sucks. But his cheese play is off the chain good.

Wow, what a shocker, nano blitzing and scrambling with the QB in 4 and 5 WR sets. Sounds familiar.........When this many owners say it, I don't think video proof is necessary.

yea he come out with one high safety ... and he has 4 down linemen and i guess a LOLB and A MLB and they end up moving both to the left a-gap .... (A gap is the game on both sides of the center) and they come right through... and the only reason i dont have film becuz one i didnt want to re-record it on my digital cam then upload it .... two the game someone wont have highlights of sacks...

I think I play him in this league so I suppose I'll get to see it myself. I blitz a lot but I do mix it up to try and cause confusion. I sacked John TEN times in MXL 2. I just don't see how you can call it "nano" when he's not manually moving lb's into gaps etc..using show blitz and line shifts or r1 to tell a lb to blitz which causes an overload isn't nano.

yeah exactly... it is the same concept.... but that right there is part of the game... u blitz the mlb, and sometimes he will move right into the gap himself..... that is why brady james was killing me... he kinda slow but he was right there before i could even throw...... not to mention mcnabb's slow release...... **** that is how i got daryll smith 3 sacks last week.....

did you guys play him yet?
ive yet to play any1 else in this league nearly as "cheesy" as this guy
put his ass on probation or somethin at least
maybe he'll start going outside of his 8 play gameplan (offense AND defense that is)

there is one thing that does get to me sometimes bout this league (which is by far and away the best ive been in) is certain users excessively using press..
just throwin that out there, but i dont expect anything to stem from this statement
just had to get it off my chest

yeah, i played him last yr.... he controlled the game and i was just able to keep it from being a blowout.... so i might not have gotten his full frontal assault..... lol but i do remember him doing this audible quick slant out with steve smith alot.... it was basically unstoppable unless you got pressure or manually change to the linebacker/corner guarding the play.... i dont like to change so that destroyed me..... and like i said... he will keep doing it until you stop it.....

the whole press thing is why they have the Release attribute.....I hate being presses a much as anyone, but I also press sometimes. Pressing is part of the game....& some CB's can do it & some cant. But there are WR's/TE's that have good release

yeah actually since the end of last year and this year.. i have implemented it in my game as well. even as much as i man up, i like to let them go through routes so i can have a chance at jumping them... weakness to that is that sometimes 2 or 3 wrs are open!

yea there is a risk to pressing, but i think the reward is much greater if you have good man coverage cb's
its not a big problem with me unless its used every play and before my WRs even line up
i think the stupid long ass animations ea used for press is what makes it frustrating at times
